Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposed to make the following Order:-
The effect of the named Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions (DYL means double yellow lines “no waiting at any time” restrictions) on the following length of roads in Willesborough in the Borough of Ashford:-
HYTHE ROAD – (DYL) – On the north east side from its junction with Honeysuckle Avenue to its junction with The Street.

(AMENDMENT No.7) ORDER 2026
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that The KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter called “the Act”), and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposes to make the following Order:-
The effect of the named Order will introduce and amend Disable Persons Parking Bays (DPPBs), double yellow lines (DYL) and single yellow lines (SYL) on the following lengths of roads in Dartford:-
AVONMOUTH ROAD – DYL - On both side from its junction with Humber Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. DARENTH PARK AVENUE – DYL – On the West side from the a point 3.7metres south of the southern boundary wall of 70 for a distance of 78.5 meters in a northerly direction. HILLTOP GARDENS – On the east side replace the existing single yellow lines with double yellow lines from garage 26 to the northern property boundary of 52-62. HUMBER ROAD – DYL – (1) On the south side from its junction with Avonmouth Road for a distance of 10 metres in both directions. (2) On the west side from the northern boundary of 41 for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction. KENWYN ROAD – DYL – On the east side from its junction with Humber Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. LOWFIELD STREET – Reduce the existing payment parking bay by 11 metres and extend the existing restricted parking zone to a point in line with the southern boundary of no 31. RED STREET – DYL – (1) On the north side from the boundary of The Exchange/The Croft for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction. (2) On the south side from the boundary of The Bungalow/Victor Cottage for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction.
Place DPPBs on: ALMA ROAD – On the south east side from a point 29 metres from its junction with High Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a westerly direction. ANNE OF CLEVES ROAD – Outside no. 73. COLNEY ROAD – Outside no. 9-11. DURRANT WAY – Outside no. 31-33/35. GORE ROAD – Outside no. 11/13. KEARY ROAD – Outside no. 35/37-39/41. MARTINS ROAD - Outside no. 19-21 SHENLEY ROAD – Outside no. 13. SUFFOLK ROAD – Remove a permit parking bay and replace with a DPPB outside no. 25/27.
Revoke DPPB’s on: FULWICH ROAD – Outside no. 161 and 151. JOYCE GREEN LANE – Outside no. 17. ST ALBANS ROAD –Outside no. 104. ST MARTINS ROAD – Outside no. 25-29. YORK ROAD – Outside no. 2b.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter referred to as the Act) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order.
The effect of the order would be to extend the current 20MPH speed limit on the following length of roads in Whitfield, Dover:-

(VARIOUS TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT No.2) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council under the above named Order and under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3, 4, 19, 65(1), 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and having regard to Section 122 of the Act and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-
The effect of the Order would place an at any time Local Bus Lane on the following length of road in Gravesend, Gravesham:-
GARRICK STREET – On the east side for its entire length.
The Order was made on 7 May 2026 and its provisions will come into effect on 8 May 2026.

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT No.3) ORDER 2026
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to introduce a no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Gravesend, Gravesham:-
GARRICK STREET – From the North going in a Southerly direction. (1) On the east side from a point 11.5 metres south of the junction with New Road re-position the existing Bus Stop by 3 metres to the north for a distance of 26.5 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the east side between the bus stops re-position the existing DYLs by 3 metres to the north for a distance of 5.5 metres in a southerly direction. (3) On the east side re-position the existing bus stop by 3 metres for a distance of 15.5 metres in a southerly direction. (4) On the east side from the bus stop to the crossing zig zags place new DYLs outside Punjabi Junction.
The Order was made on 7 May 2026 and its provisions will come into effect on 8 May 2026.
