NOTICEISHEREBYGIVENthattheWolverhampton
City Council have made an Order under Section
14(1)(a)oftheRoadTrafficRegulationAct1984,as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceedingonAshleyStreetatitsjunctionwithQueen
Street.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteenmonths,butitisanticipatedthattheworkswill
beundertakenon12thMay2026,betweenthehours
of09:30and14:30.
The diversion route is: Mount Pleasant, Willenhall
Road,StChadsRoad,LuntRoad,QueenStreet&vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate works to
repair/replaceadefectiveframeandcoverbySevern
TrentWater.
