THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MOUNT ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Mount Road closed between
its junctions with Dippons Drive and Tor Lodge Drive.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 11 May 2026 until 14 May 2026.
The diversion route is: School Road, Mill Lane and vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate works for a small sluice
valve renew by Severn Trent Water.
