THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(FOX’S LANE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Fox’s Lane in both directions at its
junction with Stafford Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 18th May 2026 until 19th May
2026.
The diversion route is: Crown Street, Cross Street
North, Cannock Road, Stafford Street & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of
high voltage electrical ducting by National Grid
(Electricity Distribution).
