THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CORN HILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) have made
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following
stretches of road:
l Corn Hill closed in both directions from the junction with
Sun Street.
l Sun Street closed at its junction with Broad Gauge Walk
to its junction with Corn Hill.
l Bailey Street closed in both directions.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the closure will operate on
12 May 2026, between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00.
The diversion route is: Lower Horseley Fields, Ring Road
and Wednesfield Road.
The Order is required to facilitate filming.
