LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(LONGRIDGE ROAD, PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 27th April 2026 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting in Longridge Road, Preston, the north west side, from its junction with the centreline of Gamull Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a north easterly direction.
This Order will come into force on the 11th May 2026. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
quoting ref: LSG4/ 894_20257/AFR Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
