What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ONE-WAY SUSPENSION AND ROAD CLOSURE PULLER ROAD, SEBRIGHT ROAD AND CALVERT ROAD EN5

THE BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate water mains repair works, they have made an Order which will:

(a) temporarily permit all vehicles to travel along Puller Road EN5, in both directions, between Calvert Road and Alston Road, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily permit all vehicles to travel along Sebright Road, in both directions, between Calvert Road and Alston Road, while the works take place.

(c) temporarily close Calvert Road EN5 between No.61 Calvert Road and the junction of Puller Road, while the works take place.

(d) temporarily close Puller Road between No.101 Puller Road EN5 and the junction of Calvert Road, while the works take place.

The Order will commence on Monday 18th May 2026 and is expected to last for 4 days. The alternative routes for motorists will via Puller Road, Alston Road, Sebright Road and vice versa.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform.
