Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure due to new connection works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order:
U70414- Road From Rose Farm To Crossway- Howle Hill, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70414- Road From Rose Farm To Crossway- Howle Hill, Rose Farm. Grid Ref: 360528/220373.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Kiln Green to Rose Farm onto Bulls Hill onto the B4234 onto the C1275 From Junction with B4234 onto Sharman Pitch and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 18th of May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
