(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (B6355 Millburn Bridge & D36/6 Cockburn Farm, Duns) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 11 May 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 15 May 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 each day.
The Order is required for Scottish Water works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following roads:
(a) Closure 1: the B6355 Millburn Bridge at its junction with the B6365. The alternative route for westbound traffic is via the B6355, A6112 and B6365 to the point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and
(b) Closure 2: the D36/6 Cockburn Farm, Duns at its junction with the B6355/B6365.
There is no alternative route.
