NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Cramfit Road, penny piece Lane, Main Street, Hillside, Main Street Slip Road, The Baulk, Nursery Road, New Road, Laughton Road, Church Lane, Littlefield Road, Undergate Road Roundabout, Athorpe Road, Monksbridge Road, Todwick Road, Common Road and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the part of road specified in item (iii) of the Schedule to this notice and to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the parts of footpath specified in items (i) and (ii) the schedule. The part of Thornhill Place Footpath will be closed from Monday 11th. May until Tuesday 26th. May 2026. The part of Saville Road Footpath 3 and the part of Saville Road will be closed from Monday 25th. May until Tuesday 9th. June 2026.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and footpaths (Gas works).
SCHEDULE
(i) Thornhill Place Footpath 1 between Thornhill Place and Church Green (the alternative route will be via the footways adjacent to Church Street and Barnsley Road and vice versa).
(ii) Saville Road Footpath 3 from its junction with Saville Road and the end of the cul de sac (there is no alternative route, access will be maintained for residents).
(iii) Saville Road between Cutts Avenue and Cemetery Road (the alternative route will be via Cutts Avenue, Cemetery Road and vice versa).

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the borough of Rotherham proposes to make the abovementioned Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order if implemented will be as Specified below:-
(i) R evoke ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions affecting the part of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice;
(ii) I ntroduce ‘No Waiting at any Time’ to the part of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice;
