Dean Edge Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Telecommunication Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DEAN EDGE ROAD, OLDFIELD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Dean Edge Road, Oldfield has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Dean Edge Road from a point outside the entrance to the Far Dean Fields Farm to a point outside the entrance to the Higher Pitcher Clough.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Dean Edge Road (unaffected section), Crag Bottom Road, New Laithe Road, Scar Top Road, Oldfield Lane, Harehills Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 8th of May 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 on the 8th of May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
