(STAINCLIFFE ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Staincliffe Road, Dewsbury from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with School Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Lane, Heckmondwike Road, School Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 25 May 2026 and remain in force until 29 May 2026 between 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BATTYE STREET/INGS ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OFTRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Battye Street/Ings Road from its junction with Leeds Road to Alfred Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Leeds Road,Alfred Street, Battye Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 and remain in force until 5 June 2026 between 07:30 hours and 17:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LISTING LANE/VALLEYROAD, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Littletown, Liversedge:Point Closures

Listing Lane - at its junction with Bradford Road Valley Road - at its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in

Littletown, Liversedge on a rolling programme:-
Point Closures
Ings Road (Bradd Close) - at its junction with Bradford Road
Ings Road - at its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-

(GEORGE STREET, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of George Street, Dewsbury from its junction with Central Street to its junction with Dewsbury Ring Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Central Street, Wormald Street,Ashworth Road, Wellington Road, Dewsbury Ring Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 11 May 2026 and remain in force until 29 May 2026 between 07:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOOD LANE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Lane, Mirfield from a point outside property no. 10 to a point outside property no. 12 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Wood Lane, Huddersfield Road, Leeds Road, Cooper Bridge Road, Colne Bridge Road, Bog Green Lane, Paul Lane, Helm Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 11 May 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HIGH STREET, HECKMONDWIKE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(NO.2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVENthat the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of High Street, Heckmondwike from its junction with Oldfield Lane to its junction with Market Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Market Street, Walkley Lane, Heckmondwike Road, Cemetery Road, Huddersfield Road, Webster Hill, Dewsbury Ring Road, Halifax Road. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 11 May 2026 and remain in force until 22 May 2026 between 17:00 hours to 06:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HIGH ROAD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of High Road, Dewsbury from its junction with Wakefield Road to its junction with Low Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wakefield Road, Syke Lane, Town Street, High Road and vice versa. (No right turn from Wakefield Road).

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 12 May 2026 and remain in force until 29 May 2026 between 07:30 hours to 17:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(UN-NAMED FOOTPATH FROMALLEN
CROFTTO CROFT STREET, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of un-named footpath fromAllen Croft to Croft Street, Birkenshaw from its junction with Allen Croft to its junction with Croft Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Croft Street, Old Lane, Public Right of Way SPE/12/30 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 15 May 2026 and remain in force until 15 November 2026 between 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (any further extension will require the permission of the Secretary of State).

(KENNEDY CLOSE, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Kennedy Close, Dewsbury from a point outside property no. 3 to a point outside property no. 22 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available. It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 hours on Thursday, 14 May 2026 and remain in force until 23:59 hours on 20 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
