TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Cockin Lane, Clayton, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Cockin Lane from its junction with Low Lane to its junction with Carter Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Cockin Lane (unaffected section), Low Lane, The Avenue, Baldwin Lane, Scarlet Heights, Sand Beds, Brighouse Road, Thornton Road, Carter Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 11?? of May 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 17?? of May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
