West Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Telecommunication Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

WEST LANE, BAILDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near West Lane, Baildon intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of West Lane from its junction with Hope Lane to its junction with Belmont Avenue.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via West Lane (unaffected section), Hope Lane, Belmont Rise, Belmont Close, Belmont Avenue and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 10:00 hours on the 17?? May 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 17?? May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
