NORTH BROOK STREET, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near North Brook Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of North Brook Street from its junction with Canal Road for approximately 40 metres in a south westerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via North Brook Street (unaffected section), North Holme Street, Valley Road, Holdsworth Street, Canal Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 18?? May 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 18?? May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
