U8076 FOGGAT FARM JUNCTION TO NEWBIGGIN JUNCTION HEXHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8076 Foggat Farm Junction To Newbiggin Junction 130 metres eastwards of its points with C282 Whitley Chapel To Dipton Mill heading further eastwards for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th May 2026 until the 5th June 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th May 2026 until the 5th June 2026 the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C282, U8074, C278, U8076 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U5085 SOUTH END AND U5085 SOUTH WATERSIDE BUTTERYHAUGH (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
U5085 South End from its junction with U5085 Kielder Library Access Road heading southwards and then westwards for a distance of 200 metres.
U5085 South Waterside from its junction with Kielder Tynedale District Bridleway 012 heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 260 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th May 2026 until the 21st August 2026.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 26th May 2026 until the 27th May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st August 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

B6318 GILSLAND MAIN ROAD GILSLAND (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6318 Gilsland Main Road 25 metres southwards from its junction with U7029 Rose Hill heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 50 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th May 2026 until the 23rd May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th May 2026 until the 21st May 2026 between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6318, C1023, C394, A69, B630 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6309 HINDLEY TO STOCKSFIELD STOCKSFIELD (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6309 Hindley To Stocksfield from its point with the rear of Northwood lodge heading in a northward’s direction for a distance 45 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2026 until the 3rd July 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st June 2026 until the 5th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 & 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd July 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6309, C273, A68, A695 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

HEXHAM TOWN PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NUMBER 6 (TEMPORARY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Hexham Town Public Bridleway Number 6, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Hexham Town Public Bridleway Number 6
From a point 90 metres north of the B6305 Allendale Road, on Shaws Lane, Hexham, in a northerly direction for a distance of 200 metres to a point 12 metres south of Garden Cottage, at the junction with Public Footpath No 5, Leazes Lane, Hexham.
There is no alternative route available.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd June 2026 until the 9th June 2026.

The closure has been requested by Express Traffic Management due to the likelihood of danger to the public, to facilitate a safe working area for a large vehicle working on overhead cables in the vicinity of the public bridleway.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland:
The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2026 until the 19th June 2026.
Road Closures:
• U8190 Milkwell Lane from its junction with U8190 Leazes Lane heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 220 metres
• U8190 Leazes Lane from its junction with U8189 Chantry Farm Junction to Aydon Junction heading in a southwards direction for its entire length.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 4th June 2026 until the 5th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8190, B6321, U8187, B6529, A68, U8189 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
• U8189 Chantry Farm Junction to Aydon Junction from its junction with U8190 Leazes Lane heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 550 metres.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 3rd June 2026 until the 5th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8190, B6321, U8187, B6529, A68, U8189 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
• U8174 Beaufront Woodhead Farm to Stagshaw Bank from its junction with A68 Corbridge to Stagshaw heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 1050 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st June 2026 until the 3rd June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8174, U8186, A68 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U8294 LAY-BY-HEXHAM EAST (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8294 Lay-by Hexham East from its junction with A695 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 98 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd June 2026 until the 6th June 2027.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd June 2026 until the 13th December 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th June 2027.
There is no alternative route available.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9045 Mill Lane Heugh from its junction with C344 Cheeseburn Grange Junction to Paddock Lane heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th May 2026 until the 18th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 11th May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 18th May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C344, C343, C341, B6309, U9043, U9045 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7015 County Boundary To Low Row from its junction with U7014 County Boundary To Slaggyford Junction heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 1750 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th May 2026 until the 29th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th May 2026 until the 22nd May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 29th May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U7015, Access Road To Randalholme From The A686, A686, Access Road To Mosewood From The A686, U7014 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
