We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph along Thickrash Brow to Mewith Lane, High Bentham, Mewith Lane, Low Bentham & Mewith Lane To County Boundary & Mewith Lane, Mewith for a temporary period between 11/05/26 & 17/05/26, due to Yorkshire Water water main replacement scheme. However, the max duration of this Order is until 11/08/26. The restriction will be put into effect by notices & signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Mill Lane, Low Bradley, Order 2026, No. 215

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Mill Lane, Low Bradley for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 11/05/26 & 29/05/26, due to Northern Gas Networks works to replace the gas main. However, the max duration of this Order is until 11/08/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Tod Holes Lane, Wigglesworth, Order 2026, No. 231

I intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Tod Holes Lane, Wigglesworth in the vicinity of Tod Holes Bridge for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 26/05/26 & 09/07/26, due to bridge works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/12/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No. 63, Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that on 01/05/26 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Craven) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the Schedule below:-

Schedule - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions

Cross Street (U2055), Skipton, North side from its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road for a distance of 8.3 metres in a westerly direction. Cross Street (U2055), Skipton, North side from a point 25.2 metres west of its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road in a north westerly direction to its junction with Gas Street. Cross Street (U2055), Skipton, South side from its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road for a distance of 8.1 metres in a north westerly direction. Cross Street (U2055), Skipton, South side from a point 20 metres north west of its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road to a point 26 metres north west of its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road. Cross Street (U2055), Skipton, South side from a point 35 metres north west of its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road to a point 61 metres north west of its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road. Cross Street (U2055), Skipton, South side from a point 108.8 metres north west of its intersection point with the north western kerb line of Keighley Road in a north westerly direction to its junction with Carleton Street.

A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 11/05/26, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Skipton library, High Street, Skipton, BD23 1JX during normal office hours from 07/05/26 to 12/06/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 01/05/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
