On 06 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Froggetts Lane (D279) Walliswood; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Froggetts Lane (D279) Walliswood Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” and “The Surrey County Council Froggetts Lane (D279) Walliswood Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. Alternative Route: Walliswood Green Road, and Horsham Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate electrical connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Guildford Road (D2885) Fetcham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 06 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the north eastbound carriageway of Guildford Road (D2885) Fetcham as extends from its junction with (B2122) Roundabout at Waterway Road and for a distance of 50 metres along (D2885) Guilford Road. Alternative Route: (B2122) Roundabout at Waterway Road, (B2122) Waterway Road, (A245) Station Road, (A245) Station Approach Road, (A245) Randalls Road, (A245) Bull Hill, North Street, Bridge Street, and Guildford Road. This Order is required to facilitate spine cabling works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between 8am and 6pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed route described above. No sole access is affected by this closure.

Mill Road (D300) South Holmwood Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 06 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Mill Road (D300) South Holmwood as extends from its junction with (D301) Henfold Lane to its junction with (X8168) Mill Bottom. Alternative Route: Mill Road, (A24) Horsham Road, Spook Hill, Inholms Lane, and Blackbrook Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Benhams Drive (D572) Horley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 06 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Benhams Drive (D572) Horley as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between property No.12 and No.14 Benhams Drive to a point in line with the common boundary between property No.22 and No.24 Benhams Drive. Alternative Route: Benhams Drive. This Order is required to facilitate telecom spine cabling works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Chelsham Common (C77) and Chelsham Common (D452) Chelsham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 06 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Chelsham Common (C77) Chelsham as extends from its junction with (C77) Church Lane to its junction with (C77) Chelsham Road; (b) Chelsham Common (D452) Chelsham as extends from its junction with (D1349) Harrow Road to its junction with (C77) Chelsham Road. Alternative Route: Chelsham Road, Sunnybank, Farleigh Road, and Harrow Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 47 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Rowplatt Lane (D371) Felbridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 06 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Rowplatt Lane (D371) Felbridge as extends from its junction with (X33017) Twitten Lane to its junction with (X1525) Tithe Orchard. Alternative Route: Rowplatt Lane, (A264) Copthorne Road, and Crawley Down Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate electrical connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Massetts Road (C64) Horley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Massetts Road (C64) Horley as extends from its junction with (X9374) Access from Massetts Road to Cooper Lodge and Wavertree Court to its junction with (D1193) Suffolk Close. Alternative Route: (A23) Brighton Road, Victoria Road, and Massetts Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Morrison Telecom Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Bower Hill Lane (D355) South Nutfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Bower Hill Lane (D355) South Nutfield. Alternative Route: Clay Lane, and Hogtrough Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of compound works for, or on behalf of Octavius Infrastructure Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 20 weeks, between the hours of 7am and 7pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

East Hill (A25) Oxted Temporary Speed Limit Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding at a speed greater than 30 MPH in that length of East Hill (A25) Oxted as extends from its junction with (D424) Woodhurst Lane and for a distance of 130 metres in both directions. This Temporary Speed Limit Order is required to facilitate full traffic signal refurbishment works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 8 months, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 01 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary speed limit, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police.

Partridge Lane (C60) Newdigate Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians, dismounted cyclists, and equestrians) from entering or proceeding in that length of Partridge Lane (C60) Newdigate that is crossed over by the bridge known “Beam Brook Bridge” and for a distance of 10 metres either side. Alternative Route: Partridge Lane, Parkgate Road, Village Street, Rusper Road, and Partridge Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate bridge strengthening works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 06 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Station Road (D412) Dormansland and Blackberry Lane (D412) Lingfield
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Station Road (D412) Dormansland as extends from its junction with (C90) High Street to its junction with (D412) Blackberry Lane; (b) Blackberry Lane (D412) Lingfield as extends from its junction with (D412) Station Road to its junction with (D412) Swissland Hill. Alternative Route: Blackberry Lane, East Grinstead Road, (B2028) High Street, (B2028) Town Hill, (B2028) Racecourse Road, Dormans Road, High Street, and Station Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is to facilitate construction works to “Dormans Station Footbridge” and/ or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council within the length of roads described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 weeks, within the 18-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 01 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Due to the nature and location of the works there will be no access through the works area and all traffic including pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access is affected by this closure.

British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride (Temporary Traffic Measures) Order 2026
Surrey County Council proposes to make the above mentioned Temporary Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) the effect of which will be to (1) Prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice or any parts thereof. Such restriction shall also apply in relation to the riding, leading or driving of horses or any other animals; and (2) Impose a one-way driving restriction in the entire length of Chapel Road (C67) Smallfield, so that all vehicles shall proceed in a northerly direction. The Order will come into effect on 21 June 2026, for a period of one day, but will only be operative whilst the relevant traffic signs are displayed. This Order is required to facilitate the holding of an on-road cycling event, namely The British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025. The Order will not apply to such pedal cycles or other vehicles being used in connection with the said event, or anything done on the direction, or with the permission, or a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police. Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water, or electronic communications, to premises in the area and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic. No exemption will apply for disabled persons’ vehicles and all parking places in the lengths of roads specified in this Notice will be suspended. Access for residents will be maintained where possible, however the Council are satisfied that, in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which this Order relates, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, or for facilitating the passage of vehicular traffic on the road, vehicular access to premises situated in the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted, save for emergency access as indicated above. Access for pedestrians will be unaffected. It is anticipated that the closures will operate in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead between 5am and 2pm and in the District of Tandridge between 5am and 4pm, though roads will reopen earlier if it is safe to do so. The Council are also satisfied that in accordance with subsection (3) of Section 16A of the Act, that the event to which the Order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road. Such is the length of the route and the nature of the closure, the Council does not consider it practical to recommend alternative routes for traffic, however, it will be possible to cross the route via Outwood Lane (Woodmansterne), (A23) London Road South (Merstham) and (A25) High Street/Bletchingley Road (Nutfield), though these crossing points will be controlled by traffic signals. Eastbourne Road (A22) and Hare Lane (D374) Blindley Heath Temporary Traffic Management Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hare Lane (D374) Blindley Heath as extends from its junction with Eastbourne Road (A22) to the access for Muddle Cottage; and 2. impose a maximum speed of 30mph on that length of Eastbourne Road (A22) Blindley Heath as extends from a point 40 metres south of the centreline of its junction with Bannisters Croft (X10205) to a point 80 metres south of the centres line of its junction with Crockers Lane (X34085).

Alternative route – 1. Hare Lane, Brickhouse Lane, Bone Lane, B2028 (West Park Road) and A22 (Eastbourne Road), or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate micro substation installation, overhead reinforcement works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 1 June 2026 for 2 weeks between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and speed limit, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police.

Linkfield Street (D1265) Redhill Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Linkfield Street (D1265) Redhill as extends from its junction with Grovehill Road (D1266) to the southern boundary of 63 Linkfield Street.
Alternative route – Fairfax Avenue (anti-clockwise only), Station Road, Linkfield Corner, Hatchlands Road, Blackborough Road, The Chase and Whitepost Hill, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable SES Water to facilitate new service connections and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 1 June 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Park Road (C134) Banstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Park Road (C134) Banstead as extends the access for “Banstead Place” and the access for “Apsley House”; and 2. suspend “The Surrey County Council C134 Park Road Banstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it related to 1.
Alternative route – Park Road, B2219 (Holly Lane and Bolters Lane) and B2217 (High Street), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable SES Water to facilitate a new service connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 3 June 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

D804 Woodhurst Park, Oxted Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D804 Woodhurst Park, Oxted that extends from the southern side of its junction with D804 Wilderness Road, southwards for a distance of 30m. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement and/or cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. There is no applicable alternative route however access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives.
