Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Williton To Bridgwater Road - from the western junction with Station Road to the junction with St Audries To Doniford. A total distance of 2333 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out fibre cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 7th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 12th May 2026 and last until 15th May 2026 between the hours of 19:00 - 06:00 for a total of 3 nights.
