Temporary Closure of Yalway Road and Red Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Yalway Road - from the junction with Hestercombe Road, northwards for a distance of 638 metres and Red Hill - from the junction with Greenway, eastwards for a distance of 399 metres. A total distance of 1037 metres. This Order will enable SAS Utilities Ltd to carry out pole installation works on behalf of Airband.

The Order becomes effective on 7th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 12th May 2026 between the hours of 10:00 - 18:00 for a total of 2 days.
