NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Littleton Lane, Chew Magna from its junction with Limeburn Hill extending north west for approximately 60 metres. USRN: 47904058.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer lining maintenance works on the 11th May 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
• a road closure in that length of Ham Lane, Bishop Sutton from a point outside the entrance to Little Orchard extending north west for approximately 40 metres. USRN: 47902623
• a suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of Ham Lane from its junction with Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane extending south to the northern end of the closure point. Traffic will be able to travel in both directions at this end of Ham Lane. To exit the area, traffic will need to head towards Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane junction.
• a suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of Ham Lane from its junction with Stitchings Shord Lane extending north to the southern end of the closure point. Traffic will be able to travel in both directions at this end of Ham Lane. To exit the area, traffic will need to head towards the A368.
• a suspension of the no-entry restriction in that length of Ham Lane at its junction with Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane to allow all vehicles to enter/exit at this end of Ham Lane to access properties up the closure point (near the pumping station).
• A suspension of the no right-turn restriction in that length of Ham Lane to allow vehicles exiting the caravan park to turn right and exit Ham Lane via the A368.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out upgrade works at Bishop Sutton pumping station from the 11th May 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.
