Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: North Road - from the junction with Shutgate Meadow, north-westwards for a total distance of 279 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to replace a pole.
The Order becomes effective on 7th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 11th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
