Cupernham Lane, Romsey, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to broken box cover repair
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Cupernham Lane between its junction with New Road and its junction with Durban Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mercer Way, Winchester Hill, Braishfield Road, Sandy Lane, Cupernham Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Thursday 21st May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet UK to complete repair to broken box cover. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: STREETWORKS@CIRCET.CO.UK.
