Temporary Closure of Yeovil Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Yeovil Road - from 249 metres east of the junction with Vicarage Street, south-eastwards for a total distance of 791 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole testing works.

The Order becomes effective on 7th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 12th May 2026 and last until 12th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
