Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Shapwick Road - from 88 metres north-east of the junction with Burtle Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 132 metres. This Order will enable Bristol Water to carry out new supply works.
The Order becomes effective on 21st May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th May 2026 and last until 29th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
