Temporary Closure of Wick Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Wick Lane - from the junction with Stone Down Lane to the junction with Gypsy Lane. A total distance of 878 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out poling works.

The Order becomes effective on 7th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 11th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
