RAITHBY-BY-SPILSBY AND HUNDLEBY PUBLIC FOOTPATH 1179
PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER 2026

The above Order, made on 21 April 2026 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 will create Public Footpath 1179 in the parish of Raithby by Spilsby with a width of 2.0 metres running from Raithby Road at OSGR TF 3740 6693 (A) where a gate compliant with BS5709:2018 will be installed proceeding generally east south east to OSGR TF 3809 6683 (B). The total length of footpath to be added in Raithby-by-Spilsby is approximately 715 metres. The order will also create Public Footpath 1179 in the parish of Hundleby with a width of 2.0 metres running from OSGR TF 3809 6683 (B) generally east south east to OSGR TF 3822 6677 (C) where the path terminates onto Raithby Road. The total length of footpath added in Hundleby is approximately 155 metres.

If no representations or objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn Lincolnshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

The above Order, made on 21 April 2026 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the full width of the certain awarded route in the parish of Raithby-by-Spilsby running from OSGR TF 3769 6706 generally eastsoutheast to OSGR 3809 6685. In addition the full width of the certain awarded route running west-north-west from OSGR TF 3801 6649 and terminating at OSGR TF 3798 6650. The total length of the awarded route to be extinguished is approximately 476 metres. Also the full width of the certain awarded route in the parish of Hundleby running from OSGR TF 3809 6685 generally south east to OSGR TF 3847 6651 then west to OSGR TF 3834 6651 where there is a break in the awarded route then recommencing at OSGR TF 3833 6651 and continuing generally west to OSGR TF 3801 6649. The total length of the awarded route to be extinguished is approximately 977 metres. The above Order, made on 21 April 2026 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the full width of Raithby Public Footpath 366 running from OSGR TF 3740 6693 generally east OSGR TF 3785 6700 then recommencing at OSGR TF 3785 6700 and continuing generally east south east to OSGR TF 3810 6689. The total length of Raithby Public Footpath 366 to be extinguished is approximately 740 metres. And also the full width of Hundleby Public Footpath 366 running from OSGR TF 3810 6689 generally south east to OSGR TF 3843 6649 where the footpath terminates on Main Road. The total length of Hundleby Public Footpath 366 to be extinguished is approximately 540 metres.
