Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Queen Street - from the junction with High Street, southwards for a total distance of 54 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to repair or replace a frame and cover.
The Order becomes effective on 21st May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 27th May 2026 and last until 28th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
