TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order:
ORDER NO. MCC 149636683 : The City of Manchester (Darras Road, Longsight Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Darras Road from Forber Crescent to 43 Darras Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate utility works. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 11th May 2026. The order shall come into operation on 11th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
