What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

BULLSMOOR LANE EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 9 May 2026 for 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend the eastbound bus lane on Bullsmoor Lane EN3, between Nos. 97-79.

TRESILIAN AVENUE N21

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 11 May 2026 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road, eastbound for approximately 80m from its junction with Pennington Drive.

THE TOWN EN2

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “Between 19:00-03:00hrs on 11 May 2026 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on this road, south side between Nos. 4-9.

WOOLMER ROAD N18

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works

Operational Date and times: “From 06:00hrs on 11 May 2026 to 23:59hrs on 12th May 2026 or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on this road, westside between Nos. 18-42/44.

SOUTH ORDNANCE ROAD EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 11 May 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking, westside, from its junction with Smeaton Road, southwards to No. 455a, on both sides of the road.

HIGH ROAD, GROVE ROAD, MASSEY CLOSE N11

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “Between 07:30-17:30hrs on 11th & 12th May 2026 for 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to:

High Road N11

• Suspend parking, west side, from its junction with Woodland Road to the junction of Grove Road; and

Grove Road N11

• Suspend parking, north side, from its junction with High Road for 75m eastwards; and

Massey Close N11

• Suspend parking, west side, from its junction with Grove Road for 22m northwards.

OAKFIELD ROAD N14

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 12 May 2026 for 8 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on this road, from a point between Nos. 82-76 on both sides of the road.

CRESCENT EAST EN4

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 12 May 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on this road, from a point outside No.25, for approximately 155m south westwards.

FOOTPATH NO. 103 STARTING AT WALCOT ROAD ENDING AT FOOTPATH NO. 023 FROM ST STEPHENS ROAD TO NAVIGATION DRIVE EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

Phase 1 – 11 May 2026 for 1 month or until works are completed; and

Phase 2 – 4 August 2026 for 4 months or until works are completed

The general effect of the order will be to close Footpath No 103, starting at Walcot Road and ending at footpath No 023, from St Stephens Road to Navigation Drive EN3.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Whilst roads are closed local diversions will be in place and access will be maintained only as far as the works allow for more information contact 0208 379 2039 or email NRSWA@enfield.gov.uk
