Personalised Disabled Person’s Parking Places – Various Locations

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make the Enfield (Free Parking Places) (Personalised Disabled Person) (No.*) Order 202* under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:

   (a) Designate personalised disabled person’s parking places in the general locations of the streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice in which a disabled person’s vehicle which displays a valid personalised disabled person’s parking place permit issued by the Council, may be left therein; and

   (b) Remove certain personalised disabled persons’ parking places in the general locations of the streets specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice which are no longer required.

3. A copy of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive.

4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order, or make any other representations in respect of it should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to Transport, Climate and Place, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD by 27th May 2026 or by e-mail to TransportClimateandPlace@enfield.gov.uk
