WHEN: 11 May to 09 November 2026.
WHERE: Close footpath No.24 for approx. 200m between grid reference SK33807 72589 and SK33838 72391.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during works to replace the spillway at Linacre Lower reservoir. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the northern closure point travel east on bridleway No.16 then southwest on footpath No.27 then west on bridleway No.28 to meet the southern closure point. Vice versa from the south
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
