What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
NEWBRIDGE ROAD, AMBERGATE
WHEN: 25 May 2026 (08:00 to 16:00).
WHERE: Newbridge Road, Ambergate, approx. 170m from its Jct. with the A6 for 40m.
REASON: To facilitate water pressure works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Newbridge Road, Crich Lane, New Road, A610, A6 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
