TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ELLA BANK ROAD, HEANOR
WHEN: 25 May to 29 May 2026 (08:00 to 16:00 only).
WHERE: Ella Bank Road, Heanor between Westfield Avenue and Lower Clara Mount Road. REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lower Claramount Road, Hands Road, Church Street, Ilkeston Road, Westfield Avenue and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
