The following public notices were served on Thursday 7th May 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LEYS ROAD, LOUGHTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO – 2397)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to lay ducts safely.
Leys Road, Loughton – From School Lane to Bradwell Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Bradwell Road, Church Lane and School Lane (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect between 15th and 19th May 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BUCKINGHAM STREET AND CHURCH STREET (PARTS), WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2410)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Graham Construction to undertake works in conjunction with the Agora redevelopment.
Buckingham Street, Wolverton – its rear/side access road between numbers 56 and 68.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Cambridge Street and Buckingham Street (and vice versa).
Church Street, Wolverton – Its eastbound carriageway from Radcliffe Street to Creed Street
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Radcliffe Street, Stratford Road and Creed Street.
The closure will be in effect between 18th May and 15th August 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WILDACRE ROAD, SHENLEY WOOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2399)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Hickford Construction to overlay and plane out the existing carriageway.
Wildacre Road, Shenley Wood – Its entire length.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Chalkdell Drive and Childs Way (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect between 18th and 29th May 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DELAWARE DRIVE, TONGWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2376)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Reynolds Groundwork Services to undertake works to the carriageway bellmouth.
Delaware Drive, Tongwell – From Tongwell Street for 90 metres on its eastbound carriageway.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Tongwell Street and Dansteed Way (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect between 18th May and 5th June 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CAVENHAM, TWO MILE ASH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2360)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works.
Cavenham, Two Mile Ash – Outside number 13.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect between 18th and 20th May 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GRIZEDALE, HEELANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
(Reference TTRO-2370)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to undertake ducting works.
Grizedale, Heelands – From number 6 to number 15.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The closure will be in effect between 20th and 22nd May 2026.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 5th May 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARLBOROUGH STREET (PART), FISHERMEAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2383)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Vodafone to undertake works to install telecoms equipment.
Marlborough Street, Fishermead – From Chaffron Way to Childs Way (its northbound carriageway only).
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Chaffron Way, Saxon Street and Childs Way.
The closure will be in effect overnight between 8:00pm and 6:00am 11th – 13th May 2026.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PRIMROSE ROAD, BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2372)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Openreach to undertake works to access and provide underground cabling.
Primrose Road, Bradwell – From The Grove to Abbey Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Loughton Road, Vicarage Road and Abbey Road (and vice versa).
The closure will be in effect between 13th – 15th May 2026.
