TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.21 (PART) UNSTONE
WHEN: 11 May to 07 June 2026.
WHERE: Close footpath No.21 from Windmill Lane for approx. 120m.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during renewal of water main.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Travel southwest on Windmill Lane to meet footpath No.18. Travel west on footpath No.18 and Bridleway No.54 to meet the southern end of footpath No.21. Vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information on the footpath closure should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council has made an order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
