DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(FOOTWAY OUTSIDE ARGOS STORE, STATION STREET, ABERDARE) (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate repair works to the glazed shopfront of the Argos store.

The effect of the Order will be to close the following:-
Temporary Road Closure
Station Street, north-western side, from the front elevation of the Argos Store, north-eastwards for a distance of 11.2 metres.

Alternative route - for pedestrians will be available via a temporary pedestrian crossing on Station Street, and the existing signalised pedestrian crossings on Cardiff Street and Cross Street.

Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Full closure 9th May – 24th June 2026
