RHODDIR RHYBUDD fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ddim llai na saith niwrnod wedi dyddiad y Rhybudd hwn, i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Fron Fawr, Llannefydd o’r man y mae’r ffordd yn rhannu’n ddwy ger Pen-y-Waen i’r gyffordd ger Bryn Onnen.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu gwaith gan Scottish Power. Caniateir mynediad i gerddwyr ac i’r gwasanaethau brys tra bydd y ffordd ar gau. Bydd y llwybr amgen ar hyd Bryn Eithin ac yn ôl ar hyd Y Fron Fawr ac fel arall.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26 Mai 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y ffordd ar gau am gyfnod o ddim mwy na 3 wythnos.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

Conwy County Borough Council (Y Fron Fawr Llannefydd)

(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Conwy County Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles to proceed in that length of Y Fron Fawr Llannefydd from the fork nearest Pen-y-Waen to the junction near Bryn Onnen.

The Order is necessary to facilitate works by Welsh Water. Pedestrian and Emergency access will be maintained. The alternative route will be via Bryn Eithin and back onto Y Fron Fawr and vice versa.

The Order comes into effect on 26 May 2026. It is anticipated that the road will be closed for a maximum period of 3 weeks.
