Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Didcot, Bridleway 423/1/20 Cow Lane

Date of Order: 27 April 2026

Coming into force: 4 May 2026

This Order is being introduced because of road construction works which are anticipated to complete by November 2026. This is a 24 hour bridleway closure. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily bridleway 423/1/20 on Cow Lane southwards from the A4130. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. The diversion will run parallel to and signposted to the west. The route will be bordered by Heras fencing on one side, the other side will be open to the public area within Primrose. The construction area will be gated and gates will be staffed at all times. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T17079/AC)

Abingdon, Kysbie Close Footpath

Date of Order: 5 May 2026

Coming into force: 11 May 2026

This Order is being introduced because of electrical maintenance works which are anticipated to be completed by 29 May 2026. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of the footpath from outside No.44 Kysbie Close to the cycle track. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T7763/MR)

Great Haseley/Shabbington, Footbridge off Mill Road

Date of Order: 5 May 2026

Coming into force: 10 May 2026

This Order continues in force a footpath closure by Notice introduced because of footbridge boardwalk being partially collapsed. This is a 24 hour daily footpath closure. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of the footpath as is carried by the footbridge off Mill Road on the Shabbington/Great Haseley parish boundary beside the River Thame. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath. The alternative route will be signed locally. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when and where the measures are in force. The order will remain in force initially for 6 months and may be extended with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport. (Ref: T18054/AC)
