Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401318 Wick Street from its junction with the A46 Painswick Road to outside the property known as ‘The Gate Lodge’ for a distance of approximately 843 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407534 DAISY BANK (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407534 Daisy Bank from outside of the property known as No.78 Daisy Bank to outside of the property known as No.163 Daisy Bank for a distance of approximately 56 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safety whilst works to overhead cables take place.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 09:30hrs on 14th May 2026 until 15:30hrs on 15th May 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the Road, Bridleway and Footpath as detailed in the Schedules below.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for infrastructure maintenance works within the carriageway and verge.

There will be no stopping or waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said Road, Bridleway and Footpath are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 26th May 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the road in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 29th May 2026.
