Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 480023 Nettleton Road from its junction with Station Road to its junction with the Car Park entrance for a distance of approximately 32 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole maintenance works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 19:00hrs on 12th May 2026 until 06:00hrs on 13th May 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4215 Leominster Road from outside of the property known as ‘Dymock Grange Golf Club’ in a Southerly direction for a distance of approximately 446 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 11th May 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council Has Made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath ZGL 128 & Class 6 Footway as described in the schedule below; SCHEDULE

Part of Public Footpath ZGL 128 & Class 6 Footway from Hatfield Road to Malmesbury Road from its junction with Diamond Jubilee Close in a generally South Easterly direction for approximately 100 metres to a point 20 metres from its junction with Malmesbury Road.

The path and footway fall within the Coney Hill Ward in the City of Gloucester, and County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while ground investigation works are completed.

The Order will come into force 11th May 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 14th May 2026. However, this Order authorizes the closure for up to six months and if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carriageway lining.

There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 26th May 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 29th May 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE COTSWOLD WAY NATIONAL TRAIL (BIRDLIP PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council Intend to Make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Cotswold Way Trail from its junction with Public Footpaths ACO 15 & ACO 12 in a generally South Westerly direction for approximately 130 metres to a point 500 metres north of the A417 junction with Public Footpath ABP/1.

The footpath falls within the Parish of Birdlip within the Stroud District in the county of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to allow the construction on the A417 Missing Link Project

The Order will come into force 29th May 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 29th November 2026. However, this Order authorizes the closure for up to six months and if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
