THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 PART OF MANOR ROAD, GOOLE

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding along part of Manor Road, Goole between its junctions with Percy Street and Pond Close commencing 26 May 2026 at 07.30 hours until 28 May 2026 at 17.00 hours. The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed part of Manor Road, Goole access to a manhole for CCTV survey of existing sewer network and taking invert levels works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Manor Road, Cottingham Street, Swinefleet Road and Morley Street.

The road will be closed to all through traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and pedestrians. The Order will commence 26 May 2026 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
