(Islington Square & Carver Street) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) “Works” Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Council intends to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Carver Street/Islington Square, L3, (between Salisbury Street and property Nº3 Islington Square). For the avoidance of doubt, this does not relate to the main carriageway of New Islington/ Islington Square, from the 5 June 2026 to 24 April 2028 or for such lesser period of time as dictated by the earlier completion of the works which are to safely enable building repair works to be carried out.
The Council will revoke the Order in full when it is deemed no longer necessary.
