Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych, ddim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 6 Mai 2026, yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio hyd cyfan y ffordd a elwir yn Ffordd Melin Segrwydd i gyffordd y B5435, Nantglyn, yn Sir Ddinbych.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn i Platinum Traffic Management ymgymryd â gwaith BT ar ran Openreach.

Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion ar y safle i ddynodi'r llwybr amgen.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 28 Mai 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tua 10 Mehefin 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

SEGRWYD MILL ROAD TO JUNCTION B5435, NANTGLYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 6th May 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using the entire length of road known as Segrwyd Mill junction to B5435 junction, Nantglyn in the County of Denbigh.

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT works by Platinum Traffic Management on behalf of Openreach.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 28th May 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is sooner. The works are expected to last approximately until 10th June 2026.
