ORDER 2026
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC &
PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 18/5/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 29/5/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: PRIORY ROAD, ABBOTSKERSWELL.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - PRIORY ROAD, ROAD
FROM STAGING POST TO PINE TREE LODGE, ROAD FROM ABBOTSKERSWELL CROSS TO BOTTOM BRIDGE, A381, OLD TOTNES ROAD, COACH ROAD, DECOY ROAD, KINGSKERSWELL ROAD, PRIORY ROAD & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: DRAINAGE WORKS.

Roads affected: ELM ROAD, NEWTON ABBOT. THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: ROAD CLOSURE IS REQUIRED FOR SAFE PLACEMENT OF WELFARE CABINS & FOR ARTIC LORRY DELIVERIES TO SAFELY UNLOAD WITHIN THE SITE COMPOUND AREA. SCAFFOLDING MAY ENCROACH ONTO THE ROAD SPACE AS WELL.

VICE VERSA. HOLCOMBE DOWN ROAD - HOLCOMBE DOWN ROAD, HIGHER WOODWAY ROAD, NEW ROAD, EXETER ROAD, HIGHER EXETER ROAD, ROAD FROM HIGHER EXETER ROAD TO HOLCOMBE DOWN ROAD, HOLCOMBE DOWN ROAD. VICE VERSA.

REPLACEMENT.
