Ringwood - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – HIGHTOWN ROAD, NOUALE LANE, RINGWOOD, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hightown Road between its junction with Forestlake Avenue and its junction with a point approximately 150 meters east

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Nouale Lane between its junction with Hightown Road and its junction with a point approximately 100 meters north

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hightown Road, Eastfield Lane, A31 Poulner Hill, Picket Hill, Hightown Hill

DURATION OF ORDER: from 20th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 days, working between 09:30-15:30)

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out pole replacement works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
