Otterhampton - Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works

Parish Of Otterhampton - Temporary Closure Of Church Lane And Stockland Bristol Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Church Lane - from the junction with Stockland Bristol Road, south-westwards for a total distance of 128 metres and Stockland Bristol Road - from 20 metres north of the junction with Church Lane, northwards for a distance of 43 metres. A total distance of 171 metres. This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out prep and resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 19th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 27th May 2026 and last until 4th June 2026 between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00 for a total of 9 days.
