Broadway - Cycle Lane Suspension And Prohibition Of Right Turn
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (BROADWAY (CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION AND PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a cycle lane suspension and prohibition of right turns on Broadway, between the junctions of King William Street to Trafford Road, Salford, M50 3UQ. The Order is necessary for to install a new electrical supply to the new development on Broadway. The order is due to come into operation on Saturday 23rd May 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 31st May 2026.
The diversion routes are via Broadway - Trafford Road - Regent Road Roundabout - Trafford Road - Broadway.
