Parish Of Wedmore - Temporary Closure Of Townsend Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Townsend Lane - from the junction with Wells Road, south-westwards for a total distance of 23 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus to repair a leaking stop tap on behalf of Bristol Water.
The Order becomes effective on 19th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 25th May 2026 and last until 28th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
