Parish Of Wembdon - Temporary Closure Of Moores Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Moores Lane - from 28 metres east of the junction with Perry Green Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 227 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out reinstatement works.

The Order becomes effective on 5th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 12th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days. a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
